Ghana striker Matthew Amoah will return to Holland as NAC Breda have reached a deal to sign him from German side Borussia Dortmund.

The 26-year-old is expected to sign a three-deal with the Eredivisie side on Tuesday after a medical.

The former Vitesse Arnhem forward is returning to Holland because of lack of first team opportunities at Dortmund.

"We have been working on this deal for months," NAC technical director Earnie Stewart said.

"First it looked like it was impossible for the player to sign, but this week negotiating went quicker."

Amoah joined Dortmund in December 2005 but could only manage eight first-team appearances.

His stay at the club was blighted by injuries as he failed to score in his 18 months at the club.
